CLOVE

This spice plant originates from Indonesia and was brought to Europe during the Middle Ages. Clove is an evergreen tree that can reach heights of up to 10 meters.

The essential oil is obtained through steam distillation of the buds. Approximately 6 kg of buds are needed to produce 1 kg of essential oil. Clove essential oil is rich in phenols, primarily eugenol.

Clove oil is highly potent and can irritate the skin, so it should always be properly dosed.

Keep protected from light and heat. Do not apply directly to the skin or mucous membranes. Not for oral use. Keep out of reach of children.
