Mandarin essential oil is obtained from a plant with the botanical name Citrus reticulata. It is obtained by cold pressing the fruit (rind) of the fruit, which produces a clear yellowish-brown liquid. The scent of red mandarin is characteristic, sweet and fruity. Due to its extremely pleasant aroma, it is a favorite ingredient in the perfume industry, but also in aromatherapy. Warning: Keep away from light and heat.
