Description

Himalayan cedar is a tree characteristic to cold climate and great hights. Cedarwood is the symbol of strenght, wisdom and abundance. Because of its calming properties it has been traditionally used in Ayurveda and Tibetan medicine.

The essential oil is obtained with the steam distillation of the wood. 30 kg of plant material is necessary to produce 1 kg of the cedarwood essential oil.

Cedarwood essential oil is an excellent tonic for the lymphatic system so it is traditionally used for cellulite, varicose veins, swollen legs, hemorrhoids. Because of its soothing efect on the skin cedarwood oil is an ideal ingredient for remedies against seborrhea, inflammed skin and problems with flaky skin.
